The idol of Sri Venkateswara swamy was consecrated on RAKTHAKSHI NAMA Samvatsera Karthika Bhahula Padyami dated 11-11-1984.

With the help of colony members, members of Saroornagar village and devotees at large, the temple was constructed in the open land situated in the centre of the colony having road number 10 on the south and road number 12 on the north. The unique feature of this temple is that it has road on the four sides which replicates the four mada veedhis in Tirumala.

The idols of Sridevi and Bhoodevi along with Garuda were consecrated during the year 1989. During the same time Dwaja Sthambam and Sikhara Gopuram were installed amidst religious rituals.

Construction of Upalayalu

On Sri Bhavanama Samvatsera Magha Sudha Vidhiya dated 01-02-1995,

  • Sri Umamaheswara Swamy;
  • Sri Umadevi Ammavaru;
  • Nandiswarudu;
  • Dwara Ganapathi;
  • Dwara Subramanyaswamy;
  • Sri Gayatri Ammavaru and
  • Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy idols were consecrated.
  • Construction of Navagraha mandapam was completed during the said period.

On 30-06-1997 with the blessings of Sri Sri Sri Sundara Chaitanyananda Swamy the foundation stone was laid for the construction of Sri Padmavathi Kalyana Mandapam. The construction of Sri Padmavathi Kalyana Mandapam was completed and inaugurated on 20-01-1999. The kalyana mandapam can accommodate around 300 persons and also a separate dining hall in the first floor was constructed for the benefit of devotees. Sri Padmavathi Kalyana Mandapam is mainly used for performing various religious programs of the temple. Every year on Sri Ramanavami, Sri Seetha Ramula vari Kalyanam is performed in the mandapam. Number of devotees utilizes the kalyana mandapam for performing marriages and other religious functions.

During the year 2002 Sri Srinivasa Mandapam was constructed to perform various religious rituals. Every year during Vinayaka Chavathi, Ganesh idol is installed and ten days Pooja is performed in this mandapam. Every day devotees chant Vishnusahasra Namam; Lalitha Sahsranamam and other puranas in this mandapam.

During the year 2005, the temple has constructed two welcome archs on the main road of Sri Venkateswara Colony. These archs have become a very prominent land mark of the colony.

On 04-11-2006 the inauguration of Mukha Dwaram and the temple front elevation embodied with, Sridevi, Bhoodevi, Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Sri Umadevi, Umamaheswara swamy idols along with Dasavathara idols were completed. The Mukha Dwaram and the idols in vibrant colours attract vision of every devotee.

On 21/11/2013 with the Blessings of Sri Sri Sri Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Hampi Virupaksha Vidyaranya Mahasamsthanam, Sri. Vidyaranya Bharati Swamiji, Sri Naga devata idol was consecrated.

Bhramotsavams

  • Every year during Karthikamasam, Sri Venkateswara Swamy Bhramotsavams are performed for seven days.
  • Every year on Magha Sudha Vidhiya Sri Umamaheswara Swamy Kalyanotsavam is performed. During this period Mahanyasa Purvaka Ekadasa Rudhra Abhishekam to Sri Umamaheswara Swamy; Kumkumarchana to Sri Umadevi and Sri Gayatri Devi ammavarlu and Sahasranama Aaku Pooja to Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy are performed.

Various religious personalities have visited the temple and performed various yagnas and poojas.

  • Sri Sridhar Guruji has performed Sri Sudharshana yagna in the temple premises.
  • Sri Sundara Chaitanyananda Swamy has laid the foundation stone for construction of Sri Padmavathi Kalyana Mandapam.
  • Sri Brahmatantra Swatantra Parakala Muttam, Mysore visited the temple.
